Product DescriptionThe open type cross-flow cooling tower is a mainstream evaporative cooling device. Different from counter-flow towers, hot water flows down vertically inside the tower, while air passes horizontally through the fill media on both sides, forming a cross-flow heat exchange mode. It features rational internal layout, large air intake area and smooth air circulation.
The whole machine adopts modular design, mostly equipped with FRP shell and reliable metal supporting structure. It has the advantages of low water resistance, stable water distribution, low operating noise and convenient maintenance. This product occupies a small floor space and runs reliably for a long time, which is widely used in commercial air conditioning and general industrial circulating water cooling systems.Main Configuration1. Tower Casing & Support Frame
High-strength FRP shell, excellent anti-aging, sun-proof and anti-corrosion performance, not easy to crack or fade. All load-bearing frames, brackets and fasteners are hot-dip galvanized or made of stainless steel, with strong structural strength and long service life.
2. Cross-Flow Fill Media
Special cross-flow PVC fill is adopted, with large specific surface area and good hydrophilicity. It features low airflow resistance, uniform water spreading, no deformation or clogging after long-term use, and outstanding heat exchange effect.
3.  Water Distribution System
Equipped with low-resistance water distribution pipes and anti-clogging nozzles. The water supply is stable, water distribution is even without dead zones, and the overall water head loss is small.
4.  Fan & Driving System
Top-mounted axial flow fan with large air volume and low noise. The matched motor reaches IP55 protection grade, waterproof and dustproof, suitable for outdoor long-term operation. A speed reducer dedicated to cooling towers is equipped for stable transmission and low failure rate. Variable frequency motors are optional for energy-saving operation.
5.  Drift Eliminator
High-efficiency multi-fold drift eliminator is installed above the water distribution area, which effectively intercepts water droplets, greatly reduces water drift loss and saves water resources.
6.  Water Basin
Integral FRP or stainless steel water basin at the bottom, good anti-leakage performance. Standard interfaces for water supply, overflow and drainage are reserved for easy pipeline connection.
7.  Air Inlet Louver
FRP air inlet louvers are installed on both sides, which can prevent water splashing, block external sundries, and protect internal components.Application Fields Commercial HVAC: Central air conditioning systems for hotels, hospitals, shopping malls, office buildings, residential communities, theaters and other public buildings.
