Product OverviewThis is the header tape that holds the pockets of an S fold curtain at an equal distance. The tape is woven from polyester or nylon yarn, then treated so that it stays flat after washing and does not stretch under the weight of the drapery. A positioning cord runs inside the tape and locks the pockets at the required spacing, which lets a curtain workshop pleat the header quickly and keep the fold pitch identical from the first curtain to the last. Transparent tape is used when the curtain fabric is light and the header should stay invisible from the front; white tape is used for blackout and heavy fabrics. Widths from 25 mm to 160 mm cover narrow home curtains and deep hotel headers, and the tape is supplied in rolls of 50 m or 100 m. 2.Place the positioning cord at the required pocket spacing and lock it before sewing.
3.Sew the tape along the top and bottom edge of the header with a straight stitch; keep the tape flat.
4.Pull the cord to gather the header to the final curtain width, then tie the cord ends.
5.Insert the runners into the pockets and check that every fold falls in the same direction.
