Techincal flow drawing    Ultrapure water equipment combines a reverse osmosis device with an ion exchange mixed bed or EDI (electrodeionization). The ion exchange mixed bed can remove various anions and cations in water through the action of ion exchange resins in the electrolyte solution, and it is an irreplaceable means in the current high-purity water treatment process flow.
    Ion exchangers can be divided into types such as cation exchangers and anion exchangers. When the raw water flows through the ion exchange column, cations and anions in the water (such as HCO3 and other ions) will respectively exchange with the H+ ions of the cation resin and the OH- ions of the anion resin in the exchange column, thereby achieving desalination. Through different combinations of cation and anion mixed columns, the water quality can reach a higher standard.EDI equipment    The EDI (Electrodeionization) technology has been gradually developed internationally since the 1990s. It is a new type of technology for producing pure water and ultrapure water. This technology integrates electrodialysis technology and ion exchange technology. By means of the selective permeation of ion exchange membranes to anions and cations, and the exchange of ions by ion exchange resins, under the drive of a direct current electric field, the directional migration of ions is realized, achieving deep desalination of water. At the same time, hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions generated by water electrolysis can regenerate the ion exchange resins.
